2. Data Confidence Tiers

• VERIFIED API / FEED (HIGH): Direct response from an official retailer API or authorized affiliate product feed.
• COMMUNITY CONFIRMED: Sighting reported by a community member and upvoted by 5+ independent buyers.
• UNVERIFIED: Fresh community submission undergoing peer voting.

3. Data Failure Safeguards

If an automated retailer API check fails or encounters a network error, our system marks the check as CHECK_FAILED and retains the last known verified status rather than falsely reporting Out of Stock.
